East Anglia School of Acting

The East Anglia School of Acting, based at the state of the art Jerwood DanceHouse in Ipswich, offers a ‘hands on' practical training run by industry professionals for adults, young adults and children with a passion for the performing arts

My Credentials:

I began my career as a professional actor over 20 years ago and have toured internationally in many theatre productions. During this time I also have been running education programmes for several professional theatres and companies including Derby Playhouse, Mansfield Civic and the Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds. I studied Applied Theatre at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and gained an MA in Applied Theatre (education). Outside of my schools and education work I also still direct, produce plays and occasionally act professionally, having most recently been on stage at the Mercury in Colchester. I coach private students towards Trinity Guildhall speech and drama and acting exams and currently have a pass rate of 100%. Last year 92% of my candidates were awarded the grade distinction.
